In Paris, Kubri: Bistronomy with a Beirut twist
At the helm is chef Rita Higgins, surrounded by two sisters, Mayfrid and Ingrid Chehlaoui. An all-female trio celebrating the cuisine of the land of the Cedars, blending tradition and creativity.
On the menu, shareable treats like delicious Kurbi with extra-virgin olive oil, zaatar and dukka, or homemade labne with feta. And small, precise dishes like the perfect prawns with shawarma butter, sesame cream and coriander. For a sweet touch, the Osmallié with its ashta cream, roasted pear and caramelized honey, and the semolina cake with labne and citrus peel, are ex-aequo on the kiff podium!
We like : the anti-folklo decor designed by the MUR.MUR agency, which has turned Kubri into a sleek, designer space enhanced by earthenware and a perfect dose of color.
