Domaine de Fontenille: the essence of the collection
It was in the heart of the Luberon, in Lauris, that the first address in the collection was born, almost a decade ago. The Domaine de Fontenille embodies the elegance of a discreet luxury, rooted in the land and open to art. This singular place is much more than a hotel: it's a house inhabited by history, aesthetics and nature. Carefully restored, the 19th-century bastide unfurls its volumes in the middle of a 35-hectare park, bordered by organic vines, laurels, olive trees and century-old cypresses.

Patricia Urquiola designs the interior architecture and Olivier Scola runs the table
The soft hues of the 21 rooms feature solid wood headboards, contemporary artworks and bathrooms with Patricia Urquiola tiles. The kitchen, run by chef Olivier Scola, features products from the permaculture garden and local artisans. Developed by The Ivory Foundation, the estate's educational garden promises a journey highlighting the principles of permaculture, agroecology and agroforestry. The aim here is to educate young visitors about nature-friendly gardening and environmental protection. In the cellar, the estate's award-winning wines also reflect this demanding taste, from rosé to red, including Antoinette, an alcohol-free Rolle-based cuvée. This four-star estate is also an art of living: family harvesting, canoeing on the Durance, bike rides, creating your own cuvée, discovering the vegetable garden with the kids. There are plenty of activities to choose from, as well as the option of lounging by the pool.
