5-star hotel: Maison Albar sets up in Nice
Opening alert: a new Maison Albar hotel on the Côte d'Azur
After inaugurating Maison Albar Amoure in Portugal, the hotel group has just announced its new address: Maison Albar - Le Victoria in Nice. This nugget, just 30 metres from the beach, is the latest addition to the group's weekend offerings on the Côte d'Azur.

A new showcase opens its doors on Nice's legendary Promenade des Anglais. Near Place Masséna: Maison Albar - Le Victoria, whose name refers to the 5th generation of the Albar family.
Inside, the atmosphere is peaceful. Created by architects Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet of Studio MHNA, it is directly inspired by the luxurious villas of the French Riviera. Common spaces are bathed in the bright southern light. Not to mention the azure blue of the sea. What's more, the decor refers to the elegant design of the 1930s. It has been reinterpreted with great modernity, punctuated by Biot glassware in homage to the Villa Kérylos, and elements echoing the surrounding landscapes.
Hotel Maison Albar: rooms, spa and restaurant
In the 132 rooms, including 30 suites, your gaze plunges into the sea or the Nice hinterland. Against this backdrop, inviting you to escape, the rooms reveal a wide range of colors. There are shades of white, ivory, delicate blues and touches of black. Materials are precious. They range from woodwork and impeccable lacquer to characterful stone. The result is a discreet, no-frills luxury.
The 600 m2 spa, beautifully named ORIA, oscillates between marine style and art deco. The pool is carved from marble, and the loungers are adorned in soothing blue-green. Contrasting white with a hint of black, the hotel's common thread, six cabins offer a relaxing interlude. Inside, you'll find a steam room and sauna. Two treatment suites feature private whirlpool baths. The ultimate in luxury, beauty rituals are lavished with gold-based products by Giusto Manetti Battiloro. They come from Swiss brand La Colline and Tuscan brand Seed to Skin.
The menu at Taulissa is the work of Michelin-starred chef Glenn Viel, a connoisseur of southern flavors who works at L'Oustau de Baumanière, the 3-star restaurant nestled in the commune of Les Baux-de-Provence. It is perched on the hotel's panoramic rooftop, with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. The restaurant offers seasonal cuisine, while house cocktails can be sipped in a lounge atmosphere by the pool overlooking the sea. During the day, Le Café Victoria on the hotel's second floor is the ideal place to enjoy a cappuccino. What if your next trip was to Nice?
