Kasbah Tamadot: New Riads in the Heart of the Atlas Mountains

Two hours from Marrakech, in the village of Asni, Kasbah Tamadot is a refuge imagined by Sir Richard Branson. The businessman fell in love with it during one of his round-the-world balloon trips in 1998.










The entrepreneur bought it from Luciano Tempo, a world-renowned antique dealer, inheriting a large part of his art collection. Transformed into a hotel, Kasbah Tamadot took on the appearance of a guest house combining luxury with a humanitarian vocation, committed to developing high-end, virtuous tourism in harmony with the surrounding communities.
Around the original kasbah, nine Berber tents complete the spirit of exclusivity of this hillside retreat. Today, six brand-new three-bedroom riads have just been inaugurated.
