The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife Abama is developing new experiences
And spend an unforgettable night
The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife Abama is expanding without losing any of its splendor. The five-star Spanish hotel has unveiled The Retreat, presented as a "resort within a resort".
Luxurious rooms, swimming pools, subtropical gardens... The place is simply breathtaking.

The Retreat: that's the name of this little piece of paradise recently launched by The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife Abama, in the heart of the Canary Islands. The design is directly inspired by the tribal heritage of the Guanches, the ancient indigenous peoples of the region. This oasis is made up of lush gardens, which border the four private pools with areas for both adults and families, promising calm for lovers and friends and space to have fun with your children. While one pool appears to be at one with the ocean, three pools form a river along the four avenues.
This is where the two-storey casitas are located. A total of 144 rooms and suites, decorated by Hirsch Bedner Associate, are part of The Retreat, with sublime garden and ocean views. Elegance merges with elements echoing the island's volcanic landscapes. Materials reveal themselves in organic textures, enhanced by natural materials and earthy tones, between red, orange, emerald green and wood beige. All of this is supported by modern lines and streamlined furnishings. The coherence is obvious: the accommodation is rooted in the heritage of Tenerife, which is entering a more contemporary and artistic era. A successful gamble!
But that's not all. The Retreat offers a new club with several dining options, including The Terrace, The Kitchen and The Pantry. Martin Berasategui's two-star M.B, the sophisticated Akira Back, the modern Basque Txoko, the rice and seafood dishes of El Mirador, the Italian Verona and the vegetal Verde Mar are also to be discovered at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife Abama. There's something for everyone.
The upscale hotel, known for its many pools, boasts a collection of penthouses and suites, as well as La Citadelle, the main building with its ochre-salmon facades contrasting with the tall palm trees. A 2,500m2 spa offers all the facilities you need to relax. A special highlight is the massage inspired by Teide, Spain's highest volcano, which combines the benefits of lava sand exfoliation with the power of heated volcanic stones.
