The WOW Surf House in Morocco
Have you heard of the Waouh effect? It's the interjection you'll hear when you first discover WOW, a Taghazout boutique hotel celebrating its first decade in 2025. The World Of Waves offers direct access to the ocean, which is best tamed from October to April, when the swell remains stable and constant. A mythical place for Surf House enthusiasts. With seven private rooms featuring large picture windows and ocean-facing terraces, the WOW is the perfect choice for a vacation where sport and relaxation go hand in hand. Prefer to keep it down to earth? The hotel's rooftop offers yoga classes as the sun goes down, and throughout the day there are energizing classes in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, as well as Yin yoga to restore your energy. And what better way to recharge your batteries than with Moroccan cuisine prepared with fish delivered daily from Taghazout beach? Not forgetting delicious tajines and couscous every Friday, to be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Noah Surf House, Portugal
Designed by architects Alexandra Paiva and Vasco Vieira, this cube-shaped hotel blends into the landscape of Santa Cruz, in the center of Portugal's coast. Concrete blends perfectly with wood and glass to enhance the 8 rooms and 13 bungalows with sea views. Our favorite? The Mar & Cook bungalow with its adventurous spirit, featuring a small terrace, a fireplace for autumn evenings and an elevated bed accessible via a small suspended wooden ladder. With the environment in mind, the establishment makes a point of respecting its ecological commitments by recycling rainwater and installing solar panels. Nature also takes pride of place in the hotel's organic garden, where a dozen hens frolic about. The same pleasure is to be found on the plate, with a fabulous garden vegetable soup on the restaurant menu, as well as a hummus with spinach and spices that will take your taste buds on a journey.

Les Hortensias du lac, in France
Destination Hossegor, France's surfing capital. The Fontenille estates have taken over the Landaise coast and unveiled this timelessly chic address, reminiscent of the legendary seaside resort on the other side of the Atlantic: the Hamptons. Designed by Guillaume Foucher and Beryl Le Lasseur, the 25 rooms (including 6 suites) are all about naturalness: the large, vaulted white walls let the fifties-inspired furniture and rope or plant-fibre carpets shine. Created at the Varberg surf resort in Sweden, L:A Bruket's signature treatment protocols can be found in the hotel's mineral spa, covering almost 450m2the ideal place to recover from the hustle and bustle of the swell, between hammam, jacuzzi and sauna. The Soin Retour d'Escapade, made from organic raw materials from the marine ecosystem, is also sure to comfort you after a day of taming the waves, as is dinner at the hotel restaurant, whose menu is designed by Philippe Moreno from Marseilles, who brings all the solar energy needed to make this Landaise getaway an unforgettable experience.

Surfrider Malibu, in the United States
1963, the Beach Boys flooded the world's radios with Surfin'USA, promulgating a lifestyle that has remained the pinnacle of cool ever since. Surfrider Malibu celebrates this American heritage and promises you a stay in an iodized Surf House, facing the great Pacific in a decor as cosy as it is contemporary. The 20 rooms play the low-profile card in light wood and white, with the ocean taking pride of place. The upstairs Ocean facing room (on the second and top floor of the establishment), with its exposed beams, sea view and ceiling fan, is just as appealing as the first floor rooms, with their small balconies dotted with climbing plants. The same flora is to be found on the restaurant's wooden terrace, with its plunging ocean views and a menu in collaboration with nearby organic farms. The ideal spot to enjoy the sunset wrapped in a plaid next to the brazier, a moment of grace like only California can provide.

Uluwatu surf Villas, Bali
It's a mythical spot known to every self-respecting surfer, Bali's most famous wave. Uluwatu has been Indonesia's must-see surf spot for 50 years, even if beginners are advised to only touch the foam with their eyes, as nature can be so intense. That doesn't mean you can't admire the spectacle from your terrace, especially as Uluwatu Surf Villas boasts 26 residences as grand as the surrounding scenery. Whether cliffside, with ocean or jungle views, they all invite relaxation and luxury, and most have their own private pool. We do, however, like to mingle with the rest of the guests during morning yoga sessions which, from 7:30 a.m., invite us to contemplation and gratitude. You can also enjoy a suspended moment during a snorkeling outing on the nearby island of Nusa Penida, where you can discover the incredible beauty of the marine flora and fauna.
