Selman Marrakech: a luxury hotel in Morocco where Thoroughbreds reign supreme
In this Arab-Moorish palace designed by Jacques Garcia, everything seems to have been carefully arranged to celebrate one of the most beautiful breeds in the world: the Arabian thoroughbred.

The Arabian thoroughbred stud farm is the beating heart of Selman Marrakech
Just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, the Selman appears like a mirage of refinement where horses reign supreme.
The paddocks stretch out like formal gardens, the stables resemble private salons, and the silhouettes of the stallions—proud and impeccably presented—dot every stroll.
The stud farm is the beating heart of the hotel. Sixteen horses from prestigious bloodlines roam freely there during the day.
The spectacle is ever-present, but the most magical moments often arise in the early morning, when the thoroughbreds awaken in the golden light of the Atlas Mountains, or during the Sunday parades that reveal the full nobility of their gaits.
The experience is extended through the estate’s equestrian offerings: horseback excursions through the lush gardens, vaulting sessions to try your hand at acrobatics, and guided meditation sessions with a horse to find your center in a different way. The property’s 30 guest rooms (20 Junior Suites, 5 Grand Luxury Suites, and 5 private villas) are lavishly decorated, while the breathtaking pool is surrounded by flamboyant palm trees. Rates start at €818 per night
