Four Seasons in Florence, a renaissance by Pierre-Yves Rochon
New decor and atmosphere for the luxury hotel housed in the Palazzo della Gherardesca and the Pallazo del Nero
There are places where history and past splendor still resonate... places where you can immerse yourself in the magnificence of a city that seems forever preserved. Housed in the prestigious Palazzi della Gherardesca and del Nero, the Four Seasons Florence offers an enchanted journey to the heart of the Medici city.
Renovated in 2008 by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the palace is now revisited by... Pierre-Yves Rochon again.

The star decorator has a knack for preserving the building's rich past while infusing it with a refined contemporary touch. A case in point is the first floor, which has been completely redesigned to integrate new entities that seem to have always existed. A more majestic entrance, a bar and a restaurant... each space invites you on a sensory journey: the lobby evokes Tuscany, with its Renaissance-inspired palette of materials and colors; the bar, open onto the immense 15th-century gardens, offers a soothing atmosphere. The restaurant, meanwhile, is inspired by the sea, as is the cuisine of its chef, Paolo Lavezzini. Everything has to change for nothing to change... and it does!
