Christmas at the Ritz Paris: giant teddy bear and festive treats at Place Vendôme
The enchanted world of the Ritz Paris comes alive for the holidays with the bellboy bear
As the holidays approach, the Ritz Paris is creating its own magical Christmas atmosphere with a giant bear bellboy who becomes the central theme of a season entirely dedicated to sweetness and fantasy.
The entire hotel is transformed into a magical scene, and the bear, like a character from a fairy tale, becomes the mascot of the iconic hotel on Place Vendôme, slipping into every corner to re-enchant the holidays.

The Christmas party venue with a spectacular Christmas tree in the lobby
As you walk through the revolving door of the Ritz Paris, your gaze immediately falls on an extraordinary Christmas tree.
Six meters high, this installation is designed as a work of art: 400 suspended bear cubs, each sparkling like a little protective talisman. The ensemble evokes a silent, almost ethereal ballet of teddy bears. It's a way of reinventing the traditional Christmas tree, giving it a sculptural presence while preserving the softness that is the hotel's signature. The decor delights adults and children alike, creating a luminous interlude in the heart of winter.

A giant bear that welcomes and watches over Place Vendôme
Just before the main entrance, in the peristyle, a new figure catches everyone's eye: Teddy B(e)ar Groom, a giant bear, 2.5 meters tall, standing like a gentle sentinel watching over Place Vendôme. Designed especially for the festive season, the hotel's mascot stands as a benevolent guardian, spreading the magic of Christmas in true Ritz style.
A unique creation that dialogues with the classic architecture of the square and reveals a more playful side to the Ritz Paris, always a master in the art of combining elegance and imagination.

A chocolate marshmallow creation, a gourmet treat to take away
The experience continues with a gourmet break. The Ritz Paris signature hot chocolate, a 70% Venezuelan blend, stands out for its creaminess and delicate floral and spicy aromas. And an exclusive creation catches the eye and whets the appetite: the marshmallow bear, reminiscent of childhood treats. A subtle combination of 64% Ecuador chocolate, ultra-light marshmallow, and Madagascar vanilla caramel that flows like a little surprise inside.
A highly affordable and desirable treat to enjoy while strolling around Place Vendôme or to offer under the Christmas tree in an elegant blue box decorated with a drawing of the bear bellboy.

A pop-up store entirely dedicated to the teddy bear family
A few steps away from the Christmas tree and the giant Teddy B(e)ar, a pop-up store displays the entire collection of Ritz Paris teddy bears. The store brings together the various figures of the hotel: bellboy, chef, valet, maid, and even the teddy bear in a peach bathrobe, which has become a tender nod to the hotel's style.
From key rings to large models, each bear has its own personality and story. The limited-edition brooch, created especially for the holidays, is already establishing itself as a future cult item to pin on a jacket or bag.

An enchanting digital game: search for the Ritz bear cub
To extend this festive atmosphere beyond the hotel walls, the Ritz Paris has created an online game called "Where's the Teddy Bear?" on its website: a series of magical illustrations in which mischievous teddy bears are hiding in different areas of the hotel. Players are invited to find them and then enter a prize draw for a chance to win teddy bears. It's a fun and playful way to enter the Christmas world of the Ritz Paris while maintaining its spirit of refinement.

A contemporary tale in the heart of Paris
This Christmas at the Ritz Paris is more than just a setting. It embodies a vision, that of a hotel that celebrates tradition while reinventing it, choosing a teddy bear dressed as a bellboy as the magical symbol of this new season. It's a way of reminding us that the magic of Christmas is never far from childhood when such an iconic hotel decides to create it with such poetry, tenderness, and imagination, confirming that Paris is always a celebration.

And to continue the magical journey back to childhood, a log cake shaped like a candy cane.
Ritz Paris Le Comptoir unveils an exclusive creation that brings back fond memories. With its red and white twists, this giant candy cane reinterprets the treats that were once hung from Christmas tree branches.
The aesthetic evokes nostalgia and tradition, while the composition reveals a subtle modernity: a Savoy biscuit with toasted Papua vanilla, enhanced with a creamy, crunchy, and mousse mixture combining vanilla from Uganda and Papua. The hibiscus flower infusion that colors its decoration gives it delicate fruity and floral notes.
This rare log cake can be presented in a magnificent box reminiscent of a toy chest, which conceals forty shortbread biscuits, like a natural extension of the magic of the holidays, limited to 50 copies.
