between Gard and Ardèche, the Mas Re address book.Source
Rémy and Marc, owners of Mas Re.Source, a superb guest house that Plume visited, agreed to reveal their favorite addresses around their home.
As connoisseurs of the region, they have concocted this notebook for us, with little-known establishments, must-see spots and unexpected discoveries between the north of the Gard and the south of the Ardèche.
Nugget addresses for a long weekend.
Unearthnuggets at L'Appart des filles
"A boutique selling clothes, home decor, crafts and accessories, with a cutting-edge selection. Every time we've taken friends there, they've come away with something. Plus, the prices are super reasonable."
Rue Salavas, Barjac (30).

Tasting (and taking home) fine family vintages at Domaine Audu
"This winery is run by a family who have been here for a very long time. Since last year, they've decided to invest. The cellar master is very young, the products are really interesting and it's a beautiful place, black in the Soulages spirit. They're all very nice and, what's more, they do a great job. You can even have an aperitif there."

Sipping a drink on a typical terrace at Murier sur Cèze
"The owners used to spend all their vacations near Montclus, it was their secret hideaway. They moved in two years ago. The restaurant is open from April to early October. You'll find good cocktails, good wines and good tapas, with local produce."
Place de l'École, Montclus (30).

With its stone-built houses and cobbled streets, Barjac is one of the region's must-see Provencal Renaissance towns. It nestles between the Ardèche and Cèze gorges, on the threshold of the Cévennes (Photo of Barjac © @Gentlementravellers)
Immerse yourself in contemporary art at the Fondation Eschaton-Anselm Kiefer
"It's not easy to find, but it's spectacular: the place is the work. A total work, the achievement of a lifetime. It's a stroll through the artist's mind."
La Ribauté, Barjac (30).
Take your taste buds on a journey at Carabasse
"A really nice, creative restaurant, run by a young man from the village, who never went to cookery school but has travelled a lot. He uses a lot of spices. There are only twenty places, so you have to book at least a fortnight in advance. The menu is set. It's top quality, even the desserts; there's even a two-dessert option!"

Discover the "perfectly imperfect" porcelains of Anna Karin
"This Swedish ceramist has set up her workshop in Uzès. It's very pretty, as is her work, and her porcelain can be found on most of the finest tables in the region."

Take a creative bistronomic break at La Récré
"We really have to have this restaurant! What's best? Go to the beautiful Les Vans market on a Saturday morning and book La Récré for lunch. Two young women are at the stove, preparing creative, multi-course bistronomy-style cuisine."
49, route de Paiolive, Les Vans (07).

Celebrate Ardèche terroir at the La Grande Débouche live food and wine festival
"This event takes place at the beginning of November, in Lyas. Seven Ardèche restaurateurs are behind it, and they're inviting seven other restaurateurs from the surrounding area. Among them are two alumni of Le Septime in Paris. It's a really good festival, which is a huge success, with seven stands, but also activities, natural wines... It's very dynamic in terms of local produce."
Château de Liviers, 260, allée du Château, Lyas (07).
