La Prairie, the first home in The Oasis House concept
La Prairie is the first rural location for The Oasis House concept, which uses this venue to promote the idea of family homes for rent and "Bleisure," a combination of business and leisure.
The concept of Camille Personnat and Guillaume Prigeant, the founders?
A pleasant and comfortable place to get together with friends and family for a week or a weekend in the countryside, but also available for companies to rent to build relationships while working in small groups, punctuated by daily moments.
Like guests at a friend's house, team-building activities include preparing dinner, organizing aperitifs, strolling through the surrounding forests, participating in pétanque tournaments, enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, trying out a new wellness therapy, or simply relaxing by the pool.
To crown its idea, The Oasis House received first prize in the "Innovative Concept" category at the Hospitality Awards in Paris in November 2023.
Like an invitation to a guest house
Accessible in an hour by car or RER from Gare de Lyon, in the direction of Nemours-Saint-Pierre, the house is located in Egreville, in the Seine-et-Marne region, not far from the Fontainebleau forest, the Gâtinais nature park and close to Le Coudray, home to the Bourdelle museum-garden.
Camille Personnat is the host that day. Model height, wheat-colored hair and a gentle smile, the co-founder of The Oasis House welcomes you as if you were at home, and immediately puts you at ease. The young woman embodies the spirit of the house with great charm.
Rose, Céleste, Alban, Clémentine, Gustave, Iris... The 12 rooms are named after friends, each with its own bathroom, adorned with flowery wallpaper and decorated with antique furniture. No two rooms are alike, except for the cozy atmosphere created by the soft colors, velvet bedspreads in muted tones, and soft cushions that are touched by the sun's rays as they enter this luminous home. In the living room, a wood fire crackles in the large fireplace, the centerpiece in front of which the large coffee table hosts fireside aperitifs. With terracotta floor tiles or parquet flooring in the bedrooms, vintage furniture and natural materials, this is a bright and welcoming home, just like its owner.
Are you familiar with "Bleisure," the concept created by The Oasis House?
An alliance of business and leisure, The Oasis House, which has raised 7 million euros in funding, with a project for three other residences in the same vein, proposes to create, within these country houses, a lively place to work on a daily basis, in a natural setting with an emphasis on well-being. Everything is provided (high-speed fiber Internet, ClickShare, HD screens, intelligent touch-screen tablets, etc.) to enable you to work in a different way, in the midst of nature.
Team spirit is built here, by living together. Work sessions and meetings take place in the 125 m2 barn. As for relaxation, the choice of activities on site is vast: padel, pétanque, bicycles at your disposal, walks in the forest, swimming pool, yoga classes, initiation to new methods of well-being such as Rymasté, combining dance and yoga, created by Fanny Veyrac.
And thanks to recipe kits devised by chef Chloé Charles, who favours short-distance produce and anti-waste food, you can cook and dine in the large, ultra-friendly open-plan dining room.
The aim? Enjoy a bubble of oxygen and brainstorm effectively in a setting conducive to creativity.
" Privileged working moments in a natural, green setting enable employees to forge strong bonds and leave with memories," informs co-founder Camille Personnat.
Immersion and well-being in the heart of nature
On a property surrounded by fields, horses and country lanes, two Lumi-Pod self-contained tiny houses, scattered on the lawn among the trees, allow you to isolate yourself and enjoy nature, through large panoramic picture windows. With their modern architecture and rounded shapes, they are made in France from materials rigorously chosen for their durability and top-of-the-range quality, in line with the idea of sustainable development for the whole house, which favors renewable energies, natural materials, short circuits and anti-waste; a slow life that respects the environment.
The main idea behind The Oasis House concept is to make the most of nature, integrating into its environment while promoting well-being and team spirit (or family spirit) to have a good time, on the one hand, but also to be more efficient and have a clear mind, by being relaxed.
" We also bought a house in Chaumont-en-Vexin. At the same time, two others, one between Etampes and Rambouillet, and one in the Perche region, are in the process of being acquired. Our ambition is to own fifteen of them by 2024", explains co-founder Guillaume Prigent.
In the meantime, the collection is taking shape: the second house, in Chaumont-en-Vexin, called La Source, is nearing completion and will be inaugurated in April.
