Paristory Tribe: the committed family hotel business
It all began in the 1990s with Gilles Marang, a real estate expert who fell in love with the hotel industry and founded what was then called Les Grands Hôtels Parisiens.

Paristory celebrates twenty-five years of independent hospitality in Paris, driven by a family history and a sensitive approach to the art of hospitality.
His eldest daughter, Alexandra, joined the adventure in 2008 to spearhead the group's development. She was joined in 2017 by her sister, Julie Marang, who left the fashion industry to take charge of the family brand's image, infusing it with a more sensitive and contemporary vision. Today, the two sisters are taking advantage of their group's quarter-century anniversary to rename it. Paristory became the obvious choice, as their establishments tell the story of the capital through its neighborhoods, from the Golden Triangle to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and from the Palais Royal to the Trocadéro. The Grand Powers and the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal, both five-star hotels, complement two more intimate addresses, the Plaza Tour Eiffel and the Prince de Conti. Each embodies a facet of Parisian heritage: Haussmannian elegance, contemporary chic, or 17th-century charm for history-loving guests. For the Marangs, hospitality is an art of welcoming, nourished by their travels and a constant aesthetic curiosity. At the helm of four hotels and managing 130 employees, they cultivate a demand for refinement combined with the warmth of a family home. Paristory thus extends the spirit of a lively, sensitive Paris, made up of the intertwined stories of its inhabitants, its visitors, and those who make its heart beat.

The attractions of the Paristory Tribe
At Paristory, responsibility is not a trend waiting to be replaced by the next one, but a real daily commitment. Alexandra and Julie Marang see sustainable development as a way of life, where well-being and environmental awareness go hand in hand. The group has been awarded the Green Key label for its four hotels, a guarantee of responsible management and a measured impact on the planet. Chemical cleaning products have been banned in favor of an ozonated water system and dry steam machines; all light bulbs are LED and air conditioning systems have been redesigned to reduce energy consumption. But Paristory's ethics go far beyond technical issues. Single-use plastic has disappeared from the rooms, replaced by aluminum bottles or cans and refillable ceramic toiletries. Bio-waste is collected by the Les Alchimistes association, which transforms it into compost, while Les Hôtels Solidaires redistributes unused new products to disadvantaged groups. In their two Café 52 restaurants, the Marang sisters continue this virtuous approach: a locavore and plant-based cuisine, certified by Ecotable, created by chef Maxime Raab: where sustainability rhymes with hospitality.

Why does Plume love Paristory hotels?
The four hotels in the collection reflect a chic and timeless Paris, each with its own unique personality, far removed from ostentatious design codes or impersonal international decor.
Ethical and socially conscious, this family-owned company cares as much about the well-being of the planet as it does about its employees, and favors plant-based cuisine in its establishments, choosing local and seasonal products.
