A night at the Radisson Hotel Reims
Modern architecture for the Alboran group's latest four-star establishment: the Radisson Hotel Reims.
The new Radisson Hotel Reims has chosen an up-and-coming district just outside the city center, but only a 10-minute walk from the train station. The hotel's owner, the Alboran Group, has designed a new architectural style for Reims, built on a former railway wasteland belonging to Sernam.
Opened last summer, the new establishment is the flagship of this new district not far from the city center of the Kings, a stone's throw from the Arena and La Cartonnerie, and promises to be a meeting place for travelers and locals alike.

A new district 10 minutes from the historic city center
A forerunner in this city centered around Reims Cathedral, and now an integral part of the project led by Grand Reims, Radisson Hotel Reims boasts eight floors of design allure, breathing a breath of modernity into the thousand-year-old city.
Ana Moussinet, interior architect-DPLG, designed the entire hotel, from the restaurant to the fitness room, from the new-generation seminar rooms to the rooftop, and from all common spaces to the rooms.
Thanks to the architect's ideas, inspired by the region, the choice of materials, a certain uniformity of natural colors and muted tones, alternating rounded lines and linear furnishings in keeping with the original architecture of this new building, the hotel is comfortable and welcoming inside, despite its large, high-ceilinged common spaces. The exterior is ultra-modern and electric, with a play of neon lights that punctuate the openings, the rounded architecture levitating like the prow of a modern ocean liner.

Vintage pieces, bespoke furniture and poetic photographs decorate the rooms at the Radisson Hotel Reims
All 102 rooms, designed by the architect, are simply decorated like a luminous cocoon, with a hushed, enveloping ambience thanks to the use of curtains and sheers that accompany not the windows but the entire wall, sometimes skirting the right angle in graceful curves. The ideal place for a romantic weekend.
In this charming hotel, vintage pieces such as the Luge chairs produced by Baumann or the Rey 22 model by Dietiker, sourced in collaboration with the start-up Chaise au Carré, accompany the custom-made furniture from the OAZE collection designed by Ana Moussinet and manufactured by the Parisian publisher La Manufacture.
The Radisson-labeled bedding is ultra-comfortable, and the bathrooms, with their warm colors and black faucets, are refined.
The walls are embellished with photographs by the artist Maia Flore, who takes poetic, offbeat shots of the city's emblematic sites, such as the Palais de Tau and the Halles du Boulingrin, to showcase Reims' heritage and its surrounding treasures, a carte blanche initiated by the Alboran group in collaboration with curator Sylvie Castellani.
The artist has created a photographic narrative around the city, drawing inspiration from the architecture of the "Cité des Sacres" and historical facts, to weave his poetic vision, tinged with humor, throughout the hotel, and accentuate the originality of this new venue, honoring the city.

A restaurant with Mediterranean flavours, decorated in a style inspired by the hills of Champagne, and a rooftop overlooking Reims, the city of Kings.
The bar on the ground floor, near reception, symbolizes the curving hills of the Champagne region, and adjoins the restaurant, run by young chef Thimotée Pretat, 27, who prepares a cuisine of Mediterranean specialties revisited with plates to share, inspired by the whole Mediterranean basin, from Lebanon to Greece and Italy.
And the rooftop boasts a huge terrace with panoramic views of the city and cathedral, and a friendly, round bar that promises unique sunset champagne tastings for visitors and locals alike.
