The Plume x Domaine du Mas de Pierre address book in Saint-Paul-de-Vence
Thanks to the Clefs d'Or concierge service at Domaine du Mas de Pierre, where Plume spent a few sunny days, the trip to Saint-Paul-de-Vence took on a whole new dimension. This historic artistic village, perched in the hills, elevates strolling and good times to an art of living. Here are some of its most charming spots.

A historical and sensory journey at Maison Godet
This is a centuries-old house whose founder, Julien-Joseph Godet, notably created perfumes for the muses of artists residing in the region. Sonia, the fourth generation, revived the brand's excellence in 2016. The shop, which is absolutely divine, transports you to another time, with an atmosphere tinged with the Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties. Beyond the decor, the scents are surprising and fascinating (we particularly love Absolu d'Oranger), as are the young women who welcome you, eager to passionately recount the history of this institution.

Visual contemplation at the Folon Chapel
Christophe, concierge at Domaine du Mas de Pierre: "The Chapel of the White Penitents is a place that is relatively unvisited compared to others, even though it is incredible. The lack of openness and light is not a problem because the colors of Jean-Michel Folon's stained glass windows are vibrant. It is a masterpiece, one of my favorite places, and I love to visit it every time."
5, place de l'Église.
Table with a view at Les Remparts
The terrace of this restaurant-bar, with its magnetic panorama of the ramparts and surrounding area, allows you to see without being seen... the slightly raised trellis is covered with vegetation in fine weather. Inside, between the vaulted ceiling and stone walls, it is as fresh as the products used there. Artichokes from Nice, pistachio pesto, and wild salad tantalize the taste buds. The portions, both food and drinks, are as generous as the service is impeccable.

Arty chic itinerary at the Maeght Foundation
Christophe, from Domaine du Mas de Pierre: “One of the most important foundations in the region. There is a particularly impressive painting by Chagall. There are also works by Braque and Miro. What is interesting about the Maeght Foundation is that there are works both inside and outside. What's more, the architecture of the building itself is very beautiful and bright. There are also bronzes by Germaine Richier and Giacometti, sculptures that look great. Jacquemus organized the fashion show for his latest collection there this winter."
The foundation has just celebrated its 60th anniversary, and Yoyo, the granddaughter of Aimé and Marguerite Maeght, the founders, and her sisters were present at the inauguration, as shown in the photo on the cover of her book "La saga Maeght" published by Robert Laffont. It is a veritable mine of information and anecdotes for those who want to learn more about the fabulous story of this visionary gallery owner couple and extraordinary patrons of the arts.

Refreshing break on the terrace of Le Tilleul
In the shade of a large lime tree, the terrace of this well-known restaurant offers views of the baous and the northern entrance to Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Ideal for a cool break among the stone walls, near the astonishing equestrian sculpture made entirely of horseshoes.

Solo escape in the street behind the church
While Rue Grande, Saint-Paul-de-Vence's main shopping street, can sometimes be crowded, you only need to climb a few steps to reach this pretty alleyway with an unusual name, located behind the church. With its serene atmosphere, nestled between traditional houses, it is very picturesque and photogenic.
Dive into the world of wine at La Cave de Saint-Paul
Sheltered under stone arcades, this19th-century cellar conceals much more than its small outdoor table (which is charming for tasting wine on the peaceful adjoining square) would suggest. The wine cellar is spread out over several levels, surrounded by period walls and eclectic decor. There is a wide selection of wines and warm advice is given freely.
